Christos Koutinas

Dr. Christos Koutinas was born in Thessaloniki in 1976. He was admitted first in his class in the Veterinary Faculty of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, where he also worked as a post-graduate trainee and later completed his Doctoral Thesis. He has trained in small animal cardiology, either as a post-graduate visitor (Royal Veterinary School of Edinburgh) or as a visiting professor (Colorado State University).

He has translated two small animal cardiology manuals in Greek and has lectured extensively on the subject, both in Greece and abroad. For the past 12 years he has been handling cardiology cases, almost exclusively. His current research projects include biomarkers in various infectious and cardiac diseases. He is an associate Professor in Companion Animal Medicine, Companion Animal Clinc, Unit of Medicine of the Veterinary Faculty Medicine in Aristotle Univeristy of Thessaloniki.
